1962
After years of experimenting with alternative jackets and coatings for pipe insulation, Ernst Keutner developed a labour-saving jacketing system with a self-curling pvc foil. He marketed his successful idea in partnership with Kalle/ Hoechst in Wiesbaden, under ISOGENOPAK©. He created vakuum-formed bends and tees to cover insulated pipe curves and branches. Valve boxes and vessel heads of plastic were manufactured and also insulation end-cappings of aluminium.
The various products were manufactured near Regensburg
and the factory got a new name: SEBALD.

At the same time, the company's activities expanded from europe to many oversea countries with trading partners all over the world.
